Extracurricular activities play an important role in the comprehensive development of students. Not only do they provide opportunities to discover and enhance specific skills, but they also encourage collaborative work, discipline, organizational skills and awakening personal hobbies.
Soccer with Independiente del Valle
Our students have the opportunity to train soccer for the Independiente del Valle team, making use of our large green space. We have a soccer field of regulatory measures.
Violin and Guitar
They learn to handle these musical instruments allowing them to activate the free expression of emotions and feelings, creativity, confidence to establish relationships with friends, discipline and perform public presentations.
Gymnastics and Cheerleading
In cheerleading, students learn to perform stunts, gymnastic moves, stunts, and people throws with special techniques. This sport helps to strengthen muscles, flexibility, discipline, collaborative work, maintaining body weight, coordination, rhythm, among others.
Swimming and Horse Riding
For the little ones we offer swimming and horse riding therapies, which influence the correct development in early childhood. Children develop security and confidence, strengthen their muscles, and activate motor coordination and the circulatory and respiratory system. Increases relaxation when gliding through the water in the case of swimming, and encourages empathy and love for animals in the case of horse riding.
“Bastoneras” Club
Different step routines are performed using the cane that our students use to perform a choreography based on rhythmic movements, maintaining an elegant and feminine posture.
Functional training
Functional training consists of performing exercises that adapt to the natural movements of the human body to work muscles and joints globally. One of its main advantages is that they fully adapt to the physical conditions of each person, which is why it is very effective as personal training: it improves body mobility, agility and balance, develops cardiovascular health, corrects posture, strengthens the mass muscle and helps maintain weight.
Chess
Learning chess helps students to structure thinking, solve problems, think, make decisions, analyze, pay attention, concentrate, strengthen visual memory and perception when strategizing for the game.
Ballet for girls
Girls who practice ballet learn about strength, flexibility, movement, coordination, laterality, among others; as well as to maintain a stylized posture, grace and balance.
Basketball
Playing sports is essential to stay healthy and active. Specifically in basketball, height is developed, it provides reflexes and agility, it promotes physical resistance and speed, it seeks healthy coexistence, in addition to reducing stress.
